A condemned prisoner in central jail Sahiwal has been executed early morning on Tuesday.
The death row convict named Muhammad Mansha breathed his last before early morning in the central jail Sahiwal for the crime he committed in 2001. The convict had gunned down a man named Saleem in a resistance during a robbery.
The condemned prisoner had met his family last before the execution in the jail. Before execution strict security measures have been taken to ensure implementation of punishment.
The jail administration has handed over his body to his family after legal formalities.
