Pentagon officials said that son of former Pakistani prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani was recovered in an operation by the US special forces and Afghan commandos, while four terrorists were also killed in the operation.
In a statement issued by the pentagon said that Ali Haider Gillani son of former Pakistani premier was recovered in the operation carried out in district Giyan of Paktika province of Afghanistan. At least four terrorists were killed in the operation while Ali Hyder Gillani has been transferred to Kabul safely.
It is pertinent to mention here that during 2013 general election campaign Ali Hyder Gillani had been abducted when he was coming to home after attending a election rally.
Son of former slain governor Salman Taseer, Shahbaz Taseer was also recovered from Balochistan two months ago. Shahbaz had been abducted in 2011.
