Indian Shashnak Manohar has elected unopposed as chairman of International Cricket Council(ICC). As Manohar said he would take all boards and stake holders together while has decided to end the post of President in this connection Pakistan’s Zaheer Abbas will be the last President of ICC.
After tendered resignation two days earlier from BCCI Presidentship, Manohar has elected unopposed ICC’s chairman. As papers could have submitted till May 11 for the slot of ICC chairman, but no candidate has submitted the papers in contest of favourite Manohar.
Shashnak will be the first empowered chairman of ICC, whereas he will assume the post immediately for two years. On this occasion, Manohar said while declaring proud of honour to his post that he would take all boards and stakeholders along him and would secure the future of cricket.
