India tests fires supersonic missile

India filled with War madness  test-fired an advanced version of BrahMos land-attack supersonic cruise missile.

As per Indian media reports, the supersonic cruise missile was test-fired at 1200 hrs at the Pokhran field firing range in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district.

The flight conducted today met its mission parameters in a copybook manner and the weapon hit and annihilated the designated target, officials confirmed.

BrahMos  anti-ship cruise missile developed jointly by India and Russia.

The missile has a range of 290 km, has a maximum velocity of 2.8 Mach and cruises at altitudes varying from 10 metres to 15 km, claims BrahMos.

BrahMos is a short-range ramjet supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft or land.

India is continuously increasing its missile technology which can cause lack of protection in the region while the US is busy trying to make India part of Nuclear Supplier Group that gives India certificate to keep eye on atomic energy but the US senators have warned that it could lead to imbalance in the region.
