Opposition parties lament government polices in NA session for budget debate

Opposition leaders criticized government as taking part in budget debate in National Assembly (NA) over the government budget for fiscal year 2016-2017.

Shiekh Rasheed hurling accusation on Ishaq Dar said that finance minister tempered government documents while Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) ,Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have declared that budget allocations for provinces in the current budget is not enough.

In the chair of speaker National Assembly Ayaz Saddiq debate on budget 2016-2017 is on. Taking part in the budget debate the PTI leader Asad Umar said that according to economical survey in last previous years 2 mw energy were produced per anum adding that if the speed of energy generation remains the same then end of load shedding could be achieved till at a time of grand son of Hussain Nawaz.

Niether taxes were  charged to billionaires nor taxes were collected from those who were making assets abroad.

Shiekh Rasheed said that world is reluctant to accept  Pakistan’s growth rate of 4.71 % while mill owners were giving 1140 rupees to cultivators for 40 Kg of sugar cane crops and the government claim of providing 1340 rupees. Leveling accusations on finance minister ishaq Dar and he said that ” the finance minister tempered the government records” and said he (Shiekh Rasheed) will produce evidence regarding his claim.

The Awami Muslim League (AML) chief prayed for PM health while criticizing he said that for advertising the premier illness as many as 70 million rupees have been expended.

JI leader Sahibzada Tariq Ullah said that portion of provinces in PSDP is very less however PM and President house expenditures have been increased .

The MQM leader Farooq sattar said that federation should collect agriculture taxes from consultation of provinces while there should be a  20 percent increase in government employees.
