Quetta Blast: 5 killed, 26 injured, 3-day mourning announced

QUETTA: A large explosion occurred in Quetta’s Hazara Town on Tuesday, which killed 5 and injured 26.

According to initial reports, the blast took place in Aliabad area of Hazara Town.

Police and rescue teams have reached to the site of the explosion.

According to the rescue sources, at least five are killed and 26 are injured in the explosion.  Women and Children are included in the injured people.

Shia Ulema Council has condemned the attack and demanded the investigation.

According to the eye witness, bomber came on motor bike.

CCPO Abdul Razzaq Cheema told media that head of suicide bomber has been found from the crime scene,who’s age is between 17 to 18 years.

He told that 17 injured have been shifted to CMH and BMC hospital for treatment. According to him, blast occurred, when people were buying things for Eid.

Majlis Wahdat Muslmeen has also condemned the blast. The chief of MWM Allama Raja Nasir Abbas has announced three day mourning.

He said that it has been proved today that terrorists have been given permit to kill innocent civilians.

He demanded to increase the level of operation Zarb-E-Azb against the terrorists in other areas of the country as well.

He said that terrorists are being supported by local banned organization.
