PM, family must be given chance to defend allegations: Aitazaz Ahsan

Opposition members of TOR’s parliamentary committee has said in a presser that matters of formation of TOR’s is not getting progressed due to government behavior while the government wanted that neither law can be formed for the Panama leaks nor any inquiry initiated for the matter while opposition wanted that the PM and his family be given chance to give their clarification over the allegations.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad Senator Aitazaz Ahasan said that the government presented same TOR’s in the committee which were rejected by the court while the government did not accept opposition’s TOR’s and given its own TOR’s and the opposition had accepted three out four TOR’s of the government despite that the matter is not progressing ahead.

Aitazaz said that probe must be carried out against family and those who transferred money while accountability must be initiated from the PM’s family and the law formed under it must be applicable to all including PM.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Inaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that at the occasion the government giving the impression that the opposition attitude is not appropriate but the talks between the government and the opposition is in deadlock just on one point and the procedure which will be decided between the two parties will be equal for both.

Shiekh Rasheed said that if TOR’s not accepted then matter will be decided on the roads while the government has last option left that is to accept the TRO’s.

Rasheed claimed that last 10 days of Ramadan will be of announcements.
