Taliban targeted a guest house in an attack near Bagram Airbase in Kabul while shoot out continued with between Afghan forces and Afghan Taliban around seven hours and two attackers were killed in the fighting.
The Taliban militants targeted the guest house near its north gate around 1 am at Monday’s night and the attackers hit the gate of the guest house with truck loaded with explosive material while gun shots were also heard after the blast.
The Afghan official said that gun battle also happened between the attackers and the Afghan security forces and two of the attackers were killed the exchange of fire.
According to Kabul police chief an Afghan police official killed and two injured in the attack.
All the staff of the guest house including foreigner were remained safe in the attack. The Afghan Taliban has accepted the responsibility of the attack.
