DHAKA: At least 15 people were killed and more than fifty sustained injuries as passenger trains collide on Tuesday.
A train heading for the southern port city of Chittagong and one bound for Dhaka collided in Brahmanbaria, about 100 km east of the capital, crumpling three compartments of the southbound train.
The accident took place in the early morning when most of the passengers were sleeping.
Rescue operations are underway and government has ordered for the investigations into the matter.
