Opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah has said that Imran Khan has disappointed their workers by calling off the planned lock-down and strengthened Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Shah asked the government to meet the four demands put forth by party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, otherwise the party would decide its future course.
In an informal chat with media, the opposition leader criticized PTI chief, saying that he disappointing political workers is tantamount to strengthening those forces considering themselves above politics.
Referring to PTI workers, he said that the PTI activists were on roads and the PTI chief was sleeping in his house. Khursheed Shah said that the political workers had left their houses wearing coffins, but Imran Khan disappointed the political workers by taking advantage Supreme Court’s decision.
Khursheed Shah said that chief Minister KP Pervaiz Khatak gave wrong message as he compared shelling on him to Indian forces’ shelling in Occupied Kashmir.
He said that the nation was not in favor of lock-down but the government chose wrong policy.
Khursheed Shah sarcastically said that Imran Khan’s push-ups were for running away from the fight.
