Adviser to PM on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that India is trying to influence China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) but we are not unaware of strategic imbalance.
Addressing a seminar on peace and cooperation in South Asia, the PM’s adviser said that India is involved in igniting terrorism in the country including ceasefire violations, all its efforts aimed at to harm the CPEC.
He said that Kashmir is the major dispute between India-Pakistan for establishing peaceful relations while India is reluctant on talks over Kashmir.
The adviser said that India is fueling arms race in the region but Pakistan is well aware of strategic imbalance adding that Pakistan has sacrificed lives of as many as 70 thousand people in war against terror.
Sartaj Aziz said that South Asia is located at vital location geographically and gifted with all resources but mutual differences are hurdle for the region development and stability.
