Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) has established special cell for prevention of dollar smuggling.
Sources said that the government has decided to take action against those who are involved in dollar smuggling.
The FBR on special instructions of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has formed the special cell for the prevention of dollar smuggling and the cell will inspect dollars sell and purchase on daily basis.
Sources said that data of those people will be collected and their tax and other details will undergone assessment who have bought an amount of 2500 dollars in last two months.
Besides that the FBR also considering to allow raids to Custom intelligence and income tax intelligence on houses of those who have stored dollar.
