A jirga under the banner of Jammat-e-Islami (JI) has demanded end of FCR, merger of FATA into province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) while the JI chief said that laws of Islam has authorized to decide future course.
Addressing to the tribal Jirga the JI chief said that the people of FATA could not be kept in the darkness of FCR anymore.
He asked the rulers did they like FCR for themselves ?, the JI chief warned that politics should not be played on future of tribal people while joint declaration demanded immediate end of FCR and merger of FATA into KP.
The declaration further demanded that local body’s election in FATA next year and provincial assemblies seat be awarded to FATA in 2018 elections.
The declaration also demanded imposing judicial system in FATA.
