KARACHI: Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that the “18th amendment cannot bar the federal government for any work anywhere.
Talking to media in governor house Imran Ismail said that the PTI government received economy which was on verge of collapse adding the government has not taken loans from the IMF so far.
Referring to Imran Khan statement which he had given in the 2014 sit-in on D-Chowlk he said that Imran Khan had given the statement to burn the electricity bills when the government of that time used to eat away money.
Governor Sindh said that PTI did not make any case against anyone adding that the institutions are fulfilling their duties freely.
Imran Ismail said that Imran Khan is the Prime Minister of the whole country instead of any province while the 18th amendment cannot stop the federal government anywhere from any work.
He said that University land in Hyderabad is the property of aviation while land will not be made commercialize but it will be used for education purposes.
The governor said that 200 buses of BRT Peshawar are parked on Karachi port and he will try his best to borrow 25 buses and if happen so then the green line project will be started within two months.
