Islamabad: Government has increased prices of petroleum goods as Rs 1.77 and Rs 2 have been increased on petrol , and high speed diesel respectively.
While the government has retained prices of Kerosene oil and light diesel. The finance minister said that government despite increase in petroleum prices will bear burden of 2 billion 750 million rupees on petroleum goods.
Addressing a presser in Islamabad the Minister said that Pakistan has low prices of petroleum goods as compare to other countries of the region.
Ishaq Dar said that on special instructions of Prime Minister (PM) prices of light diesel and kerosene oil have not been increased.He briefed that Petroleum prices increased world wide up to 43 percent.
