Security Forces Arrested 20 Militants in Balochistan Raids

Rawalpindi (February 11, 2018): Security Forces on Sunday arrested 20 militants in separate raids across the Balochistan province and also recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition.

According to Pakistan Army’s Media wing-ISPR- the frontier corps (FC) carried out raids in Balida, Gashkor, Tiratha and Pashin areas of the Balochistan province.

The forces also recovered weaponry and ammunition from those arrested in separate raids. The recovered material also included laptops, GPS, RPG rocket, sub machine gun, sniper rifles and bullets.

It is pertinent to mention here that on Saturday, a huge cache of ammunition and weaponry was recovered from Dera Murad Jamali area of the District Nasirabad of Balochistan province during ongoing Operation Raddul Fasaad.

The ISPR said that Frontier Corps conducted a raid on a tip-off in Sherani area of Dera Murad Jamali.

It said that a huge cache of ammunition, weaponry, mobile SIMs, communication equipment were recovered during the action, however, no arrests were made during the process. The security forces cordoned off the area in search of the fleeing miscreants.
