22 killed, over 50 injured nationwide in accidents

Twenty-two people were killed and over 50 were injured in accidents in various areas of the country.

Sixteen passengers died and 28 were injured in Leah-bound passenger bus-trailer accident near Harnoli Morr. The death toll is feared to rise.

In Lahore, a motorcyclist was killed when a speeding car hit him in Shahdra.

Five people were killed when a vehicle enroute to Neelum Valley from Muzaffarabad met an accident. The bodies of four of the deads fell into the river one of which has been recovered. rescue worls continue.

Fifteen children were injured when the van carrying them turned over on Taunsa Sharif Indus Highway. Two of the injured children are reported to be in critical condition. According to eye witnesses the accident took place when the van driver tried to save a motorist coming from the front.

Over 30 people including women and children were injured when two passenger coaches collided in Turbat. Many injured are listed in critical condition.

Eight students were injured critically when the van of a private technical college fell into a ravine near Swabi Mira, Haripur. Speeding is blamed for the accident.
