Islamabad: The government has issued no objection certificate (NOC) to General (retd) Raheel Sharif for joining Saudi-led military alliance as a Head.
In addition, NOC has been issued to former COAS on his request by government for commanding Saudi-led military alliance. Besides this, Saudi government also asked the permission from Pakistan government for former COAS in order to assume the command of Saudi-led military alliance.
It must be remained clear that Saudi Arabia had announced for making military coalition force comprising on Islamic States against terrorism due to increasing threats of terrorism in December, 2015, in which Pakistan also included. First,34-Islamic states were added in Saudi-led military alliance, but, now, toll has increased to 39.
