Peshawar (May 28, 2017): Adviser to Prime Minister Amir Muqam has said that the government is working hard to upgrade power transmission system besides power projects to eliminate load shedding by the next year.
Addressing a news conference in Peshawar on Sunday afternoon, he said work on mega power projects including Golangol, Tarbela-IV, Neelum-Jhelum and Diamer Bhasha dam is in full swing.
The Adviser said PTI government could not produce even a single megawatt during the last four years despite having full power to initiate projects.
He said PTI members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly are now attacking grid stations and trying to politicize the power issue.
