PESHAWAR: Peshawar police detained some 27 suspected persons in a search and strike operation conducted in the jurisdiction of Gulberg Police station of the provincial capital.
Police also recovered illegal arms from the possession of the accused during the operation.
According to police, during the operation police conducted door to door search and people identities were checked through bio-metric system.
During the operation some 27 suspected people were arrested and arms were also recovered from them. Those detained also include foreigners illegally staying in the country.
