Los Angeles (August 17, 2017): Deadpool 2 stuntwoman Joi SJ Harris died during filming. The shooting was cancelled after tragedy.
Harris was performing a motorbike stunt for the character Domino, who is played in the movie by actress Zazie Beets.
Eyewitnesses report seeing her lose control of her bike after performing the stunt successfully a couple of times on the streets of Vancouver.
The experienced rider was thrown into the air and crashed through the glass window of a ground-floor studio inside Shaw Tower, according to TMZ.
The building is location near Jack Poole Plaza and witnesses claim the stuntwoman didn’t apply the brakes on the motorcycle.
Harris was well-known as onE of the first ever female African-American professional bike riders, something she proudly promoted on Instagram.
