Colombo(September 8, 2017): Cricket Sri Lanka(SLCB) approved series schedule in U.A.E with Pakistan. As per schedule, both team would play two test, five ODIs and three T20 matches from September 28 to October 29, while the third ODI will be played at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore on October 29.
In addition, the second test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka would be played day/night from October 6 till October 9. It is to remain clear that Dubai International Stadium had hosted first day/night test of Pakistan against West Indies last year.
The Sri Lankan Cricket Board also agreed for third T20 which is to be played at Gaddafi Stadium on October 29, but this match shall be conditional subject to holding peacefully Azadi Cup of World XI.
Pakistan will be hosting for Sri Lanka in first Test from September 28 in Abu Dhabi, while the second one will be played in floodlights from pink ball at Dubai Stadium. The first ODI will be played on October 13 in Dubai whereas Abu Dhabi would host second and third ODI which has to be played on October 20 and 23.
The last two ODI would be played at Sharjah stadium on October 20, 23. Likewise, Dubai will host first two T20 matches on October 26 and 27, whereas Sri Lankan team would play last T20 at Gaddafi stadium, Lahore after nine years.
