2nd Test 4th Day: Pakistan declares inning, give Windies 456-run target

ABU DHABI: Pakistan has declared its second inning at 227 runs with eight wickets remaining thereby giving West Indies a 456-run target to win the second Test of the three match series. Pakistan has already won the first Test.

Pakistan lost its second wicket- Azhar Ali, today. He contributed 79 runs to the overall 227-run second inning score. Asad Shafiq and Yunus Khan added 58 and 29 unbeaten runs to the overall score. Gabriel and Cummins took the two Pakistani wickets.

Pakistan had piled up 452 runs all out in the first winning while West Indies, in reply, managed to score 224 runs thereby giving Pakistan a 228-run first inning lead.

Chasing 456-run win-target West Indies has just lost its first second-inning wicket- Johnson- at 28 runs. Yasir Shah claimed him.

With one-and-half-day still left the match seems to tilt heavily in favor of Pakistan which clean-swept West Indies 3-nil in both three-match ODI and T-20 series.
