2nd Test: Pakistan on 232-4 at lunch  

MELBOURNE: Pakistan reached to 232 runs on four wickets at lunch against Australia in the second Test match at Melbourne Cricket Ground.  

Azhar Ali was playing on 112 runs and Asad Shafifq on 48 runs. Azhar Ali scored his 12 Test century and third against Australia.

The first day of the second Test of the three-match series has been abandoned due to rains. Pakistan lost three wickets quickly after electing to bat against lost Australia in the second Test of the three-match series. Australia had won the first Test leading the series one-nil.

Pakistan has lost opener Sami Aslam at collective score of 18 and individual score of 9. He was caught by Smith off Lyon.

Babar Azam was second to go at collective score of 60 and individual score of 23. He was caught by Smith off Hazlewood. Yunus Khan was the third Pakistani wicket to fall at collective score of 111 and individual score of 21.

Captain Misbah-ul-Haq was Pakistan’s fourth wicket to fall at collective score of 125 and individual score of 11. He was caught by Maddinson off Bird.
