Ban on Muhammad Irfan Will End Today

Web Desk(September 14, 2017): The six months suspension on Pakistani fast-bowler Muhammad Irfan has ended today. Irfan would play cricket after paying fine and attending the restoration programme.

As, pacer did not inform PCB regarding meeting of Bickie before PSL-II. He had confessed his crime after accepting his mistake during PCB investigation, on which PCB suspended Irfan for six month including for one year ban and fined upto Rs 1 million.

The ban came into effect on March 14, 2016  on Irfan, however he could play cricket after paying fine and attending the restoration programme. The pacer has taken  8, 78 and 7 wickets in 4 Test, 58 ODIs and 8 T20 respectively.

In addition, Spinner Muhammad Nawaz was banned for six months including for 3 months suspension in PSL-II, after which Nawaz is a part of National team in Azad Cup against World Xi and he has taken 1 wicket in second T20 match at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
