Pakistan Team Qualifies for U-19 Asia Cup Final

Kuala Lumpur(November 16, 2017): Pakistan Under-19 Cricket Team qualified for Asia Cup final as green shirts defeated Bangladesh by 2 runs under Duckworth- Lewis rule.

However the second semi-final will be played between Nepal and Afghanistan and whichever Team will win, to face Pakistan in final.

Bangladesh scored 274/6 in their 50 overs as Pinak Ghosh struck 82 runs from 93 balls with eight boundaries and a six to his name skipper Saif Hassan made 61 runs from 78 balls with the help of nine boundaries a six.Afif Hossain contributed 52 runs for the team with the help of five fours.

Pursuing 275 runs to win in their 50 overs, Pakistan 199/5 in their 39 overs. Mohammad Taha scored 92 runs from 97 deliveries with the help of eight boundaries and three sixes.Saad Khan made 35 runs for the team and Mohammad Mohsin Khan scored 26 runs for the green shirts.

Hasan Mahmud and Afif Hossain grabbed one wicket each for Bangladesh while Munir Riaz grabbed grabbed three wickets for Pakistan whereas Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Khan and Mohammad Suleman Shafqat grabbed one wicket each.
