Germany Retain Top Slot in FIFA World Ranking

Zurich(November 24, 2017): The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has released latest Ranking as Germany retained top slot, whereas  no change has been made in top-five Team. But, Palestine has left behind to Israel in FIFA Ranking.Brazil, meanwhile, follow in second place after their 3-1 victory over Japan and 0-0 draw with England.Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal stayed ahead of Lionel Messi’s Argentina after the Albiceleste lost 4-2 to Nigeria in their latest friendly.Belgium complete the top five, while Spain climbed to sixth position after beating Costa Rica 5-0 and drawing 3-3 with World Cup hosts Russia.Poland dropped one spot to seventh, followed by Switzerland, who re-entered the top 10 after their World Cup play-off 1-0 aggregate win over Northern Ireland.France and Chile complete the top 10, with the latter being the only side among the 10 strongest nations that will not be at the World Cup next year.Traditional powerhouses such as Italy (14), England (15) and the Netherlands (20) all appear outside the top 10, while Senegal are now Africa’s highest ranked nation after climbing into the top 25.
