Rome (January 31, 2018): Pakistan and Italy have made an agreement to enhance relationship on different grounds, consensus took place to support each other on different channels on Wednesday at Rome.
Both the countries have decided to increase institutional collaboration, promote small and medium enterprises development and collaborate in important sectors like livestock, energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, transport management and chemicals.
The agreement was reached at the third session of Pak-Italy Joint Economic Commission in Rome, Italy on Wednesday.
Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan was leading the Pakistan delegation while Italian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister Italian Ministry of Economic Development Ivan Scalfarotto.
The two sides also resolved to remove the bottlenecks in the promotion of trade.
Pakistan and Italy signed three letters of Intent for cooperation in Textiles, Footwear and Stone sectors.
