Spot-Fixing: PCB Charges Nasir Jamshed Again

Lahore (February 08, 2018): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issues a new notice of charge to Nasir Jamshed in Spot fixing case on Thursday.

The left-handed batsman has been charged with multiple violations of the PCB anti-corruption code on Thursday.“He has been charged with violations of Articles 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4 and 2.4.4 of the PCB anti-corruption code and he has now 14 days to respond to the Notice of Charge,” quoted a spokesman for the PCB.

Notice of Charge alligations becoming party or facilitator in agreement, accepting bribe on the agreement, teasing the team-mates for fixing and not to share the information related to fixing are included.Suspended Nasir Jamshed has to report within 14 days in reply to the notice. He has been blamed more than any other player named in the spot-fixing case.

Nasir is already facing a one-year period of ineligibility imposed on him vide the PCB Anti-Corruption Tribunal’s Order on December 11, 2017, for breaching Article 2.4.6 of the Code.
