40 Percent Of Karachi Remained Without Electricity Last Night

Karachi: Unstoppable K-electric continued making the lives of people miserable by conducting load-shedding in the city.

Almost 40 percent of the city remained without electricity last night due to K-Electric load-shedding.

NEPRA will hold open court against K-Electric in Karachi while citizens are invited to attend through a zoom networking facility.

Load-shedding in the city by K-electric is continued as 40 percent of the metropolis remained without power on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan, taking notice of widespread load shedding in Karachi, has directed Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Federal Minister for planning Asad Umar to swiftly resolve issues of K-Electric.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Federal Minister Asad Umar and Shehzad Qasim had a special meeting with the Prime Minister in which the situation of coronavirus in the province and other issues of public interest including K-Electric were discussed.

Sources said that on this occasion, the Prime Minister directed the three officials to meet the K-Electric administration and resolve the issue of load shedding as soon as possible
