Web-Desk (April 02, 2018): A rare view of a blue moon recently witnessed in China for the second time this year.
The Chinese media reports, this was the last opportunity for people to see the unusual lunar spectacle until 2020.
Prior to this, a sparkling blue moon lighted the sky above China on 31st Jan after 152 long years.
“The term ‘blue moon’ actually has nothing to do with the color of the moon,” Astronomy blogger Dave Samuhel said.
“Blue moons are usually the same gray and white color of a regular moon,” he added.
The second blue moon in China travelled through sky before setting early in the morning on Saturday.
