KARACHI: There has been no progress in the case of Dua Mangi who was abducted on Saturday evening from DHA. Dua’s sister expressed no confidence in the police investigation.

According to details, today is the fourth day since Dua has been abducted and police have failed to find any trace of the culprits.

Yesterday, police recovered an abandoned car from Gulshan-e-iqbal which was allegedly used in abducting Dua.The weapon used in the abduction has never been used before in any crime, investigation officer said after completing the forensic of 9mm’s shell found from the spot of abduction.

On the other hand, family and civil society staged protest at Karachi’s famed Teen Talwar Chowk on slow progress of police in the case. The protesters chanted, ‘Dua Mangi ko Insaaf Do’ [Give Justice to Dua Mangi]. The protest also blocked the traffic on the road.Sister of Dua Mangi, Laila Mangi while expressing no confidence in the investigations of police said, ‘I’ve been traumatized since Dua’s abduction’.

Dua’s aunt said, Kidnappers haven’t contacted us yet, there is no information about her. While refuting the rumors about Dua and Muzaffar she said, ‘Dua had no link with anyone’.

Leaders of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), politician Farooq Sattar, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Naji Alam and lawyer Jibran Nasir were also seen at the protest raising their voices for quick recovery of Dua.
