The 67th death anniversary of Founder of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed with solemn remembrance and heart-felt gratitude today.
Quaid-e-Azam was born on December 25, 1876 in Karachi and left this world abode on September 11, 1948. He received early education in Karachi and then went to London for higher education. He got his law degree in 1896, returned home and begun his legal career. He got elected to Legislative Assembly in 1909 and begun his political career joining Muslim League in 1906. He remained a member of Congress for many years while also being associated with the Muslim League.
Quaid-e-Azam was the first Governor General of Pakistan, which gained independence on August 14, 1947 due to his relentless efforts. He passed away on September 11, 1948 67 years ago today.
