Dr Allama Iqbal’s 78th death anniversary is being observed with great devotion honor on April 21 (today), he was the creature of the concept of Pakistan and the one who awake the spirit of youth through his poetry.
He was born on November 9, 1887 in Mohalla Kashmirian, the area of Sialkot, he played important role in the movement of Pakistan, got title of “Ticker of Pakistan”.His critics said that his poetry consists on think and action, he awake the sleeping nation through his poetry.
He said in his poetry that “Aik hun Muslim Haram ki pasbani Kay liye, Neil kay sahil say lekar Tabkhakh kashagar, this day demands that Iqbal’s message of brotherhood and unity should be spread.
He was passed away on April 21 in 1938 and buried in the premises of Hazoori Bagh.
