JHELUM: A nine-year-old girl died due to the alleged negligence of doctors in Jhelum.
The minor girl, Zehra, was brought to the Civil Hospital after being bitten by the snake. The family members of the girl alleged that Zehra was sobbing continuously but doctors did not give her any treatment for about five hours.
The deceased’s family members, who were present in the hospital, staged a demonstration against the doctors.
The deputy commissioner (DC) Jhelum has vowed Zehra’s family to provide full justice while CEO health Dr Waseem formed a five-member committee and sought a report from them into the matter within 24 hours.
