Karachi: Sindh High Court has transferred some 56 cases relating to recovery of arms, explosive and 26 suspected terrorists during a raid on MQM headquarters Nine Zero by Rangers raid to Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) 17.
The cases were transferred to the ATC-17. Member Inspection Team-II of SHC issued notification regarding the transfer of the cases to the court.
The ATC received the SHC’s notification regarding the transfer of cases. The court adjourned hearing of the cases on Thursday without any proceeding.
The cases are against MQM workers Faisal alias Mota, (a condemned prisoner in Wali Baber Case) Ubaid alias K2 and Amir alia Sar Phatta, Amir Teeli among 26 others.
The workers who were apprehended from MQM headquarters Nine-Zero during a search and siege operation in March 2015 were accused of possessing explosives and illegal weapons.
