President of United States Barack Obama assured Saudi King Abdul Aziz bin Salman that he would veto the Congress’s resolution to declare Saudi Arabia responsible for 9/11 attack in one-on-one meeting in Riyadh.
Russian media has revealed that Barack Obama assured Saudi King Abdul Aziz bin Salman during one-on-one meeting that US has no plan to declare Saudi Arabia responsible for 9/11 attack neither Congress would be allowed to present such kind of law however if Congress do the same than it would veto.
According to Russian media the committee of US Congress had declared Saudi Arabia responsible in investigation of 9/11 attack, but the report was kept secret but at the same time Congress members indulge in attempts to release the report.
However, Congress members are trying to pass a bill from the House as opportunity should be given to the victims of the attacks to claim Saudi Arabia for compensation.
Whereas, Saudi Arabia has threaten Barack Obama that if Saudi Arabia was declared responsible for 9/11 attack than Riyadh will withdraw its 7.5 billion dollars investment including US bonds.
