Washington (December 01, 2018): The Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations (UN), Dr. Maleeha Lodhi said that establishment of a free Palestinian state is necessary to attain permanent peace and tranquillity.
Further, she has labelled the non-success of Palestine issue as a joint failure of United Nation.
In her address to the United Nations (UN), Maliha Lodhi stressed that a free Palestinian state should be established considering the geographical division of 1967. She also said that Eastern Jerusalem should be the capital of that free state.

She added that Palestina is a top example of the violation of International laws.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to UN further said that negative policies of some countries have lead to more imbalance situation in the region.
“Isreal should abruptly vacant Lebanon, Golan and other areas that they have forcibly occupied,” Maliha expressed herself boldly before the UN.
