ISLAMABAD: Following the resignation of finance minister Asad Umar, a major reshuffles expected in the federal cabinet on the basis of ministers’ performance, complaints on citizen portal and secret reports.
According to the sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to make more changes in the to speed up implementation of government agenda.
Sources hinted that the ministries of Petroleum, Interior, Family Planning, Health, Industries, and information will get new faces.
“Prime Minister is consulting with the political advisers to make reshuffle in the cabinet and will announce his decision soon,” sources said.
The PM Imran is also deliberating the merger of few ministries and formation of new ministries in the social field.
It is also learnt that a major reshuffle in bureaucracy will also be expected.
