ISLAMABAD: Abbtakk News has acquired a copy of the affidavit submitted by the removed Accountability Court’s Judge Arshad Malik in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
In his Affidavit, Arshad Malik said that he was offered bribe through representatives and threatened for dire consequences if he not cooperated in the Al-Azizya reference.
Arshad Malik who had given the verdict against Nawaz Sharif in the Al-Aziziya reference has submitted the affidavit and press release in the Islamabad High Court after Maryam Nawaz presser of July 6 in which she released the purported video of the judge.
Judge Arshad Malik in his confessional statement said that the former premier’s close aide Nasir Janjua tried to lure him by offering a hefty bribe of 100 million Euros and upon his refusal, they blackmailed him by showing him a 16 years old video while also threatened to kill him and his family.
The AC judge has also revealed that the Nasir Butt another character of the story also told him that he had murdered five to six people while can kill a few more for the sake of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
He has also revealed that they forced him to meet Nawaz Sharif while he was released on bail and given him few suggestions on his appeal on the pressure.
Arshad Malik in his affidavit said that “I made these decisions knowing God is omnipresent and on the basis of the law and the facts. I also want to make it clear that indirectly or directly, neither was there any pressure on me nor was there any greed.”
He alleged that Maryam Nawaz tried to make his verdict disputed and to get political gains, while he declared that the video is fake, false and imagery.
