Web Desk: The Pakistani batsman Abid Ali became the third Pakistan and 15th world batsman who posted a century in his debut one day international on Friday against Australia.
Abid Ali made 112 runs which is the highest debut score of any Pakistani in debut ODI as earlier Saleem Elahi made 102 and Imamul Haque 100.
In the list of debut ton maker Pakistan and South Africa each have three debut century make batsmen.
Abid Ali was selected for the national ODI squad after an outstanding performance in domestic cricket, however, he secured the chances after the unfit of Imamul Haque and proved his skills.
He also made the second oldest player who made debut century with the age of 31 years and 164 days as England batsman Michael Lamb was 34 years old when he posted a ton in his debut ODI.
