Above 1200 flights affected due to air rages last year: IATA

International Air Transport Association (IATA) released a report citing that air rages were on the rise last year as more than 1200 flights were affected worldwide due to rages between passengers and crew.

IATA said that above 10,000 air rages’ cases reported last year and reasons behind most of the rages were usage of drugs.

The IATA said that air rages were on the rise in 2015 as 10,854 cases reported last year and 1205 flights were effected in this regard.

IATA urged airlines to slash serving drug beverages at the airports and in the planes.
