Quetta: Assistant Commissioner (AC) Mangochar area, Wakeel Khan Kakkar in District Qalat succumbed to the coronavirus.
Health department Balouchistan has confirmed the AC death from the virus. He was tested positive for the coronavirus a few times back after which he was shifted to Shiekh Zaid Hospital.
The AC was shifted to a ventilator two days ago and today he died of the virus.
According to the health department, the AC which was posted at Tehsil Headquarter Mangochar contracted to the virus while fighting the virus on the frontline in the area.
According to his family sources, he will be buried in his ancestral area Sharan Tehsil Karizat.
