LAHORE: Accountability Court on Tuesday announced its verdict on the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) plea to close the references against the Chaudhry Brothers and ordered to close the ongoing probe.
As per details, Accountability Court’s judge Jawad-ul-Hassan heard a case pertaining to the plea filed by the NAB to close the pending all inquiries in corruption references.
Earlier today, Accountability Court reserved its judgment on a case pertaining to closing all the corruption references against the Chaudhry Brothers.
The investigation officer of the case submitted a report in the court and told that the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved to close the inquiries against the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders.
NAB’s prosecutor told the court that we have conducted inquiries on as much as 28 plots but no concrete evidence can be found against the Chaudhry brothers.
To which the court reserved its verdict in the case and adjourned the case.
