ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court on Wednesday summoned Joint-Investigation Team’s (JIT) head Wajid Zia for recording his statement in a case against former Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar.
As per details, Accountability Court’s judge Muhammad Bashir heard a case against the former Finance Minister pertaining to possessing assets beyond his known source of income.
On this occasion, all the co-accused have appeared before the court. The prosecutor cross-questioned the witness and the accountant of Karamat Ali, Ali Hajveri Trust.
After a short hearing the AC’s judge Justice Bashir summoned Wajid Zia again for recording his statement.
It is pertinent to mention here that Wajid Zia also recorded his statement against the former premier Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Papers Case.
