Islamabad (September 19, 2017): An accountability court will take up National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) references against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his children today for hearing.
Accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir will hear the references filed by NAB in light of the Supreme Court instructions in Panamagate case verdict.

The courts had summoned Nawaz Sharif, his children Maryam Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safder.Special Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar, Imran Shafique and Afzal Qureshi will represent NAB in the references.
NAB had filed three references against Nawaz Sharif and his children.But Maryam Nawaz and her husband retired Captain Muhammad Safdar left for London on Monday, a day before they were scheduled to appear before Islamabad’s accountability court in connection with corruption references.Nawaz Sharif and his sons — Hassan and Hussain — had been summoned, along with Maryam and her husband, in the accountability court today.Last month, the Sharif family and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had chosen not to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after they were asked to join the investigation in different cases.
