FAISALABAD: Additional District and Session Judge Layyah Muhammad Aslam and his wife were killed and four other injured when over-speeding truck collided with their car.
The accident occurred enar Banda Pul on Pattan Road in Shorkot Tehsil of Faisalabad. Rescue sources said that the judge died on the spot while his wife and children were injured.
The body and injured were shifted to nearby hospital, where the judge wife succumbed to her injuries during treatment. Condition of the injured children of the judge is stated to be critical.
Driver of the truck fled from the scene after the accident. Police seized the truck and started search operation to arrest the errant driver.
