KAKUL: Afghan National Army chief General Sher Muhammad Karimi attended PMA passing out parade organised in Kakul as chief guest. He said that Pakistan and Afghanistan were facing same threats of anti-state elements. He added that the terrorists were joint enemy and establishment of peace across region was responbility of all countries.
Afghan Army chief expressed his pleasure and honour to attend passing out ceremony, said that Pakistani military was amongst best troops around the world. He said that the region observed significant changes in 20 years.
General Karimi said that terrorism was biggest challenge at recent. He urged need of leadership skills besides physical fitness to move forward for any achievement. He said that passing out parade was always a memorable event for cadets. He thanked Pakistan military and nation for inviting him on the prestigious event.
In the event, medals and certificates were distributed amongst successful cadets.
Chief of Army gold medal under officer Hashim and honourary sword was awarded to under officer Zeeshan while the ceremony was attended by foreign ambassadors, defence attache and parents of the cadets.
