ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates ambassador to Afghanistan Juma Mohammed Abdullah al-Kaabi, 65 succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.
Juma Mohammed Abdullah al-Kaabi was injured in a bomb attack in Kandahar province on January 10. At least five UAE officials among 11 people had been killed in the attack on the guesthouse of Kandahar governor. The UAE Ambassador had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE ministry of presidential affairs said,” With great sadness and sorrow, we mourn the martyr of the nation and his duty, the righteous son Juma Muhammad Abdullah al-Kaabi, who gave his pure soul for the sake of humanity.”
