MUNICH: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Afghanistan government and Taliban will have to sit together for dialogues as reconciliation will not be possible without reaching to dialogue table.
While addressing international Munich Security Conference, FM Qureshi said that peace in Pakistan connected with peace stability in Afghanistan while bringing Taliban on dialogue table was a success of Islamabad.
He said that US President Donald Trump and special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad also praised efforts of Pakistan while a lot of work was pending but still in development.
Qureshi said that Islamabad was hoping for successful dialogues while its stance was widely supported and praised across the world.
Earlier on local media, FM Qureshi said that Indian should avoid levelling baseless allegations against Pakistan as Islamabad always sought better ties with all of its neighbours including India. He added that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement was on records regarding ties with neighbouring countries.
